Pharmacy Assistant – Distance Selling Pharmacy

Location: Bishop's Stortford, CM22
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday (Weekend shifts available)

Join Our Growing Pharmacy Team

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to join our busy distance selling pharmacy.

This is a non-patient-facing role, with no customer contact, making it ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-focused environment where accuracy and efficiency are key.

You will play an important role in supporting the safe and timely dispensing and dispatch of prescriptions.

Key Responsibilities

Picking medicines accurately from stock.
Labelling prescriptions.
Packing medicines ready for dispatch.
Checking orders against prescription paperwork.
Receiving and unpacking deliveries.
Stock replenishment and rotation.
Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
Following Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) at all times.
Supporting the wider pharmacy team to ensure prescriptions are processed efficiently.

About You

We're looking for someone who:

Has excellent attention to detail.
Works well in a fast-paced environment.
Is reliable, punctual and hardworking.
Can follow instructions and procedures accurately.
Has good organisational skills.
Enjoys working as part of a team.
Is flexible and willing to learn.

Previous pharmacy or warehouse experience would be beneficial but is not essential, as full training will be provided.
