Role Overview:
Huntsman has an exciting opportunity for a Production Technician to join its operations team at the Wilton site, within the Polyurethanes division. Operating in a COMAH‑regulated Nitrobenzene and Aniline facility, this role plays a critical part in ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient production to meet quality and business requirements.
This is a hands‑on, plant‑based position for individuals who value safety, teamwork, and operational discipline in a structured industrial environment.

Role Responsibilities:
As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for:
Operate plant and process equipment safely, efficiently, and in line with all site procedures and environmental standards
Take responsibility for the operation and isolation of equipment within the assigned area
Monitor processes, record operational data, and respond to abnormal conditions or alarms
Carry out first‑line troubleshooting and support safe start‑ups, shutdowns, and changeovers
Maintain high standards of housekeeping and compliance at all times
Proactively identify equipment or process deficiencies, support root cause analysis, and contribute to corrective actions
Escalate issues appropriately and work collaboratively with Shift Managers, Engineers, and other functions
Actively support continuous improvement and shared learning across the site
Experience and Competencies:
We are looking for experienced candidates with:
Minimum Level 3 qualification in a relevant technical or vocational discipline
Experience in a chemical, manufacturing, or process‑based industry is strongly preferred
Trade skills or prior experience in COMAH or highly regulated environments are advantageous
Comfortable working shifts and operating within a unionised, pay‑for‑job framework
