Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Builders Labourer to join our construction team. This role involves assisting with various building projects, supporting skilled tradespeople, and ensuring the smooth progress of construction activities. The ideal candidate will have a keen interest in construction work, a strong work ethic, and the willingness to learn new skills. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain practical experience in the construction industry while contributing to diverse building projects.

Responsibilities

Assisting with site preparation, including clearing debris and setting up work areas
Handling and transporting materials using hand tools and power tools
Assisting with basic tasks such as mixing mortar, lifting heavy materials, and scaffolding setup
Maintaining a clean and organised work environment to ensure safety standards are met
Following health and safety regulations at all times during site activities

Qualifications

Previous experience in construction or related trades essential
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in construction
Familiarity with trades such as carpentry, roofing, masonry, plumbing, welding, or electrical work is desirable
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and lift heavy materials safely
Good organisational skills and attention to detail
Strong teamwork ethic and communication skills
Valid UK driving licence and own transport essentia
Valid CSCS card and own public liability insurance
