Job Overview

We are seeking a friendly and dedicated Food and Beverage Assistant to join our team. This role involves providing excellent service to our guests, assisting with food and drink orders, and ensuring a welcoming environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, a positive attitude, and previous experience in food service or catering. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to develop their skills within the hospitality industry in a dynamic and supportive setting.

Duties

Welcome guests and take their orders efficiently and courteously
Serve food and beverages in accordance with health and safety standards
Maintain cleanliness of the dining area, including clearing tables and sanitising surfaces
Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments using POS systems
Restock supplies and ensure all serving areas are well organised throughout shifts
Support the bar team, with drink preparation when necessary, including coffee and specialised beverages
Follow food safety protocols diligently to ensure guest safety at all times
Collaborate with team members to deliver seamless service during busy periods

Skills

Previous experience in catering, serving, or hospitality roles is highly desirable
Knowledge of restaurant and bar operations
Strong understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Excellent communication skills with a friendly, professional manner
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
Organised with the ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
A genuine passion for delivering outstanding customer service
