Full job description

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organised and proactive Office Manager to oversee daily administrative operations and ensure the smooth running of the office. The successful candidate will manage office systems, supervise administrative staff, support HR and finance functions, and coordinate meetings, events, and company procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Organise meetings, appointments, and company conferences
Maintain and manage office databases and records
Handle correspondence, complaints, and general office queries professionally
Prepare letters, presentations, reports, and other business documents
Order and manage office stationery and IT equipment supplies
Supervise and monitor the performance of administrative staff
Process invoices and assist in managing office budgets and expenses
Implement and maintain office procedures and administrative systems
Ensure health and safety policies and procedures are updated and followed
Attend meetings with senior management and provide administrative support
Support HR functions by maintaining up-to-date personnel records
Arrange interviews and assist with recruitment administration
Update and maintain financial and office documentation accurately
Ensure efficient day-to-day office operations and compliance with company policies

Requirements

Previous experience in an Office Manager or administrative role
Strong organisational and multitasking skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Knowledge of basic HR and finance administration is preferred.

Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
