At Everyman Driving Experiences, we don’t just run events — we create unforgettable automotive experiences across the UK. With hundreds of live events, a growing national footprint, and one of the most exciting fleets in the industry, we are now looking for a commercially minded finance professional to join our growing team.
This is not a standard bookkeeping role.
We are looking for someone ambitious, commercially aware, highly organised, and confident enough to become a key part of the business. The ideal candidate will combine strong bookkeeping and financial control skills with the mindset of a future Finance Director or CFO.
You will work closely with senior leadership, helping provide financial clarity, commercial insight, and strategic support as the business continues to scale.
The Role
You’ll take ownership of the day-to-day finance function while also contributing to wider commercial and operational decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping and financial operations
- Maintaining and overseeing the company’s Xero accounting system
- VAT returns, reconciliations, payroll support, and cash flow management
- Producing monthly management accounts and reporting packs
- Monitoring margins, profitability, and event performance
- Supporting budgeting and forecasting
- Identifying opportunities for cost savings and operational efficiencies
- Assisting directors with commercial decisions and growth planning
- Helping improve systems, reporting processes, and financial controls
- Liaising with accountants and external partners
- Supporting the wider business with financial insight and analysis
What We’re Looking For
We want someone who enjoys being involved in the business — not just processing numbers.
You may currently be:
- A senior bookkeeper wanting more responsibility
- An assistant accountant ready to step up
- A finance manager in a smaller business looking for a more exciting environment
- Someone entrepreneurial who enjoys commercial involvement
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong bookkeeping and finance experience
- Previous hands-on experience using Xero is essential
- Commercially aware with good business instinct
- Confident working independently
- Analytical and detail-oriented
- Proactive and solutions-focused
- Comfortable communicating with directors and operational teams
- Strong Excel and reporting skills
- Experience producing management accounts
- Motorsport, automotive or events interest is a bonus — but not essential

- Monday–Friday working pattern
- Long-term progression opportunity
- Real influence within a growing business
