About Southdown Group

Southdown Group is a fast-growing property maintenance and refurbishment company working with letting agents, landlords, housing providers and private clients across Leicester, Derby and Nottingham. We deliver everything from reactive maintenance and compliance works through to full property renovations.

Due to continued growth, we are looking for an organised and proactive Office Administrator to join our team and help support our daily operations.

The Role

This is a varied role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and can confidently manage multiple tasks. You will be responsible for supporting our operations/dispatch team, liaising with clients, answering day to day inquiries both on the phone and through email and be the main point of administrative contact. The hours for this role are 9am to 2pm.

Key Responsibilities

Answering incoming telephone calls and emails
Liaising with tenants, landlords, letting agents and customers
Managing jobs through our scheduling software
Raising quotations and work orders
Maintaining accurate records and filing systems
Following up outstanding quotations and completed works
Assisting with compliance and certification administration
Supporting management with all administrative duties

What We're Looking For

Previous administration experience is essential
Excellent organisational skills
Brilliant telephone and customer service skills
Good written and verbal communication
High attention to detail
Ability to prioritise workload and work under pressure
Experience within property maintenance, construction or lettings - desirable but not essential
