The opportunity

We are looking for a skilled, curious and versatile B2B Account Manager to join our team. This is a role for someone who thrives in a fast paced agency environment, is comfortable managing multiple client accounts at once and brings genuine curiosity to understanding technical and specialist industries.

You will take day-to-day ownership of a portfolio of client accounts turning agreed strategy into effective marketing plans and campaigns. You will work closely with clients to understand their business and objectives, then translate that understanding into content, campaigns and reporting that deliver real commercial value.

What you will be doing

Develop content and campaign ideas that reflect client objectives, sector nuance and audience needs
Manage the delivery of integrated marketing campaigns across content, digital, social and PR channels
Ensure campaign activity remains aligned with the clients broader commercial goals
Adapt plans confidently as client priorities or market conditions shift
Lead client meetings, updates and reviews with clarity and confidence
Coordinate and develop B2B content across formats including web copy, case studies, articles, email campaigns and social content, particularly where technical or complex information needs to be made accessible
Work with subject matter experts and client teams to accurately translate complex, technical detail into clear and compelling marketing content
Brief and work with the Copywriter or wider content team, taking responsibility for ensuring content is accurate, on-brief and aligned to client strategy
Work with Marketing Executives and the Digital Strategy Lead to ensure digital activity, including SEO, GEO and paid media, is joined up with wider campaign strategy
Keep campaigns on track, on brief and on budget, flagging risks or delays early
Produce clear, accurate client reporting that demonstrates campaign performance and commercial value
Use analytics and performance data to inform recommendations and next steps for clients
Communicate confidently with clients and internal teams, adapting style and tone to the audience
Follow established account and client management processes
Maintain awareness of retainer scope and budget on your accounts, flagging any commercial concerns to the Senior Account Director
Identify potential opportunities for account growth and raise these with the Senior Account Director

What we are looking for

Minimum three years in a client facing marketing or account management role ideally in an agency
Strong writing skills with the ability to translate technical or complex information into clear, engaging marketing content
Confidence managing multiple accounts and priorities in a fast-paced environment without losing attention to detail
Ability to take a marketing strategy and turn it into a practical, deliverable plan
A good working understanding of digital marketing, SEO principles and social media within a B2B context
Comfortable using data and analytics to inform decisions and demonstrate campaign value to clients
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting to clients
Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing deadlines calmly
A collaborative team player who is comfortable both leading and taking direction where needed

Experience & education

Minimum three years in a client facing marketing or account management role
Agency experience preferred; in-house B2B considered
