Overview

We are seeking a skilled and reliable Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces, ensuring high-quality results and a professional appearance. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in construction painting or related fields who are committed to precision and craftsmanship. A valid driving licence is preferred to facilitate transportation to different sites. The successful applicant will be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering outstanding work in a timely manner.

Duties

Prepare surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and masking to ensure proper adhesion of paint or finishes
Apply paints, varnishes, stains, and other coatings using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment
Follow colour schemes and specifications provided by clients or project managers
Ensure all work complies with safety standards and company policies
Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any maintenance needs
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively to meet project deadlines
Assist in the setup and organisation of work sites to optimise efficiency and safety

Skills

Proven experience in construction painting or related trades is desirable
Strong communication skills in English for clear understanding of instructions and collaboration
Valid driving licence is advantageous for site visits and transport purposes
Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
Attention to detail to ensure precise application of paint and finishes
Good organisational skills to manage time effectively across multiple projects
Physical fitness to perform tasks that involve standing for long periods, climbing ladders,
