Full job description

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our night club. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. This role offers an opportunity to work in a lively environment, showcasing your skills in serving and hospitality while ensuring guests have an enjoyable experience. Previous restaurant experience and a strong understanding of food safety standards are highly desirable.

Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of beverages in accordance with company standards and customer preferences
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware.
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and adhere to licensing laws
Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials
Handle cash transactions accurately, including processing payments and giving change
Engage with guests to create a friendly atmosphere, providing excellent customer service at all times
Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards

Skills

Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
Basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately
Effective time management to handle busy periods efficiently
Good organisational skills to keep the bar area tidy and well-stocked
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a friendly demeanour
Personal presentation that reflects professionalism and hospitality standards
