Company Overview

G & P Healthcare Ltd is a dedicated nursing and care company rated outstanding by CQC.

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Workers to support a young man with an acquired brain injury in his purpose-built home in the Haworth area of West Yorkshire.

You will receive Excellent training from nurses and specialists in all aspects of his care needs.

This is an exciting package as the whole team will be new and all starting together. It gives a lovely opportunity for the team to become supportive of each other while supporting fully a lovely young man who needs to flourish in his own home

Responsibilities

Assist the client with daily living activities, including personal care and mobility support.
Follow detailed care plans tailored to individual client needs and preferences.
Provide emotional support to the client and his family.
Ensure a safe environment by adhering to health and safety guidelines.
Maintain accurate records of client progress and report any changes to the healthcare team.
Assist with medication management as required.
Assist with full rehab of client including being trained of some physio
Support clients in accessing community resources and services using his vehicle to help him access more in his community.

Requirements

Previous experience in a caregiving role is essential
Strong understanding of client care and supporting clients to the highest possible standards
Car driver essential
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
Degree of flexibility to cover annual leave and sickness
Required Flexibility to work Days and/or Nights within the rota.
