Telesales Account Manager (Internal B2B / Telesales)

Company: Blue Spot Tools

Location: Manchester Distribution Centre & Head Office (M50 / Trafford Park area)

Job Type: Full-Time, Permanent

Hours: 37.5 Hours per week | Monday to Friday (Sociable office hours, no weekends)

Basic Salary: £27,000 per annum

On-Target Earnings (OTE): £32,500 via monthly commission, new business bonuses, and quarterly overachievement rewards

As leaders and innovators in our sector, we are constantly expanding. We are currently seeking a driven, commercially aware Sales Executive to join our team based out of our modern Manchester distribution centre. With comprehensive internal product training and modern, persona-based sales tools provided, you will be given all the support you need to maximize your earning potential and hit your performance bonuses.

The Role

In this role, you will balance warm account management with active new business growth. You will be the primary point of contact for a portfolio of trade clients while proactively opening and scaling new customer accounts from scratch.

Account Management: Build strong, trust-based relationships with your existing customer base over the phone, understanding their specific inventory needs and trade challenges.
New Business Acquisition: Identify, contact, and onboard new trade accounts across the UK, taking them from cold prospects to active, high-volume buyers.
Targeted Marketing Outreach: Utilize our persona-based sales systems to send tailored marketing materials, product samples, and promotional offers directly to key decision-makers.
Sales Growth & Upselling: Analyze customer order histories to identify cross-selling and upselling opportunities across our 1,300+ product catalog.
CRM & Data Management: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline forecasts, and customer interactions using standard office software (Excel, Word, and internal systems).

What You Need to Bring

We are looking for a motivated sales professional who brings commercial awareness, a great phone manner, and a true drive to achieve targets. While experience in the hand tools or construction supply industry is a bonus, it is not essential—your sales talent and work ethic matter most.

Experience: Proven track record working in a telesales, internal sales, or B2B account management environment.
Sales Aptitude: A flair for understanding customer needs, handling objections, and closing sales over the phone.
Communication Skills: Exceptional listening skills paired with strong, confident interpersonal abilities.
Technical Proficiency: Competent in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word (PowerPoint experience is useful, but not a dealbreaker).
Work Ethic: Highly organized, target-driven, and capable of managing your daily calling schedules efficiently.
