Full job description

The Role

As a Housekeeper at The Botleigh Grange you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards our guests expect. You will ensure that guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas are consistently clean, tidy, and welcoming, helping to create a first class experience for every visitor. Additionally, you will support laundry operations and maintain linen supplies to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key Responsibilities

Clean, service, and maintain guest rooms and bathrooms to hotel standards
Clean and maintain all public areas, including lounges, corridors, reception, and spa areas
Handle and manage linen and towels, including sorting, washing, folding, and distributing to guest rooms
Replenish room amenities and report any maintenance or repair issues
Support laundry operations as needed, ensuring cleanliness and organisation of linen and uniforms
Follow all health, safety, and hygiene procedures, including safe handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment
Work closely with the Head of Department and housekeeping team to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest service
Maintain proper documentation of cleaning schedules, lost & found items, and laundry records

About You

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment
Strong attention to detail and pride in delivering high-quality work
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexible availability, including weekends and public holidays
Reliable, organised, and able to handle physically demanding tasks

Pay: Up to £26,436.80 per year

Work Location: In person
