Overview
We are seeking a professional and organised Hotel and Accommodation Receptionist/Administrator to join our team. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our Hotel reception by providing excellent front-desk support and administrative assistance. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers for all our properties. Prior office experience and administrative skills are highly desirable for this position.
Responsibilities
- Greet visitors and clients in a courteous and professional manner
- Drive between properties to perform quality checks and welcome guests (meet and greet service)
- Manage incoming calls, emails, and correspondence efficiently
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Ensure the reception area remains clean, tidy and welcoming at all times
- Support other administrative staff with various office duties as required
- Manage incoming deliveries and coordinate with relevant departments
- Assist with organising company events or meetings when needed
Requirements
- Proven office experience or administrative background is preferred
- Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and softwares
- Knowledge of Property management systems preferable
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Professional demeanour with a friendly attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised, reliable, and proactive in managing tasks
- Clean driving license
The position requires a dedicated professional who can handle multiple responsibilities with efficiency and professionalism. Possibility of accommodation available with 2 shearing.
Pay: From £14.00 per hour
