Our team of 50+ specialists design and install everything from solar panel arrays and battery storage to heat pump systems - always with impartial advice and a complete design-and-install package. The role
As a Renewable Energy Sales Consultant, you’ll guide homeowners through their switch to cleaner, cheaper energy - from first enquiry to agreed proposal. Every project starts with a survey (F2F or Remote); you’ll then design and present a tailored solution for Solar PV, battery storage and heat pumps that helps the customer cut consumption, lower costs and reduce their carbon footprint.
No renewables experience? No problem. If you’re motivated, personable and good with people, we’ll give you the full training and the warm leads to succeed.
Handling inbound customer enquiries — answering questions, building trust and guiding customers through their journey.
Representing GreenGen at occasional exhibitions and events to engage interested prospects.
Surveying properties (a mix of face to face and remote) to understand the customers requirements and correct product fit.
Designing tailored solutions by analysing survey data for Solar PV, battery and heat pump projects.
Producing clear, compelling proposals (working alongside our experienced team as you learn our systems).
Presenting options to customers and bringing the financial and carbon savings to life.
Handling objections, agreeing terms and closing deals while always delivering real value.
Keeping your knowledge sharp through ongoing internal and industry training.
A natural communicator who builds rapport and earns trust quickly.
A proactive, self-motivated attitude and a genuine drive to deliver results.
The ability to interpret data and explain solutions simply and clearly.
A passion for renewable energy and helping people make sustainable choices.
Helpful but not essential: previous sales experience, or a background in construction, renewables or the trades. Strong sales instincts matter more than a CV full of solar.
