Warehouse Team Leader

Within the UK we deliver a national service, relied on and trusted by circa 3,500 businesses to serve tasty beverages and snacks at a variety of locations from workplaces to schools, universities and hospitals and everywhere in-between.

The Role & Job Purpose: Oversee responsibility for the day to day management of our Hemel Hempstead warehouse operation, to ensure all activities are completed within set, agreed timescales and inline with company standards. We supply a high percentage of our customers and our satellite operations from Hemel Hempstead so the Senior Warehouse Manager plays a key role in delivering joy to go! Without this Rock Star we cannot be at the forefront of keep the nation refreshed and happy!

We are seeking a proactive and hands-on Warehouse Team Leader on the PM shift to support the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation in a fast-paced distribution environment.

Key responsibilities:

Day to day management of all staff and relevant departments within the warehouse.
Plan workloads and deliver individual assignments to team members.
Distribute labour against workload on a daily basis
Ensures correct work procedures are followed and standards are maintained.
Ensure Health and Safety procedures are observed at all times, to maintain a safe and legal working environment.
Assist in the recruitment process for hires within the warehouse function

Requirements

Warehouse Management experience and qualifications would be beneficial
Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
Leadership experience and ability to manage staff.
Understanding of basic Health and Safety processes.
The ability to be accurate and methodical and have good organisational skills.

Strong communication skills
Ability to plan and prioritise workload
