Full job description

Job Summary
Here at Langham Hall Estate, we are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Bookkeeper / Admin Assistant to support our finance and administrative functions. This position is for two days a week, Monday & Thursday 8.30am - 4pm and is ideal for someone with a background in accounting and administration who enjoys working with financial data and organisational tasks. The successful candidate will assist with bookkeeping, data entry, and general administrative duties, contributing to the smooth operation of our business. This position has the potential to grow and offer additional days.

Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records using Xero accounting software
Assist with bank reconciliations
Support administrative duties including filing, data entry, and correspondence organisation
Assist in maintaining organised records of receipts, invoices, and other financial documents
Assist with customer enquiries/bookings
Provide general administrative support to the team as needed

Qualifications

Part or fully AAT qualified
Proven experience with Xero accounting software.
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Basic understanding of accounts payable processes and financial documentation
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Excellent organisational and time-management skills
Excellent customer service skills

Pay: £17,680.00-£22,100.00 per year
