Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and skilled Roofing Contractor to join our team and lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems across various projects. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse roofing structures, utilizing your expertise in construction and craftsmanship to deliver high-quality results. As a Roofing Contractor, you will be responsible for managing on-site operations, ensuring safety standards are met, and collaborating with clients and team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively. Your energy, attention to detail, and technical skills will drive success in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of roofing systems using a variety of materials and techniques
Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise execution of roofing projects
Operate power tools, hand tools, welding equipment, and fabrication machinery safely and effectively
Collaborate with construction teams to coordinate tasks such as carpentry, masonry, plumbing, or heavy lifting as needed for complex roofing structures
Conduct site inspections to assess project progress, identify potential issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations
Manage material inventory, order supplies when necessary, and maintain a clean and organized work environment
Communicate clearly with clients, project managers, and team members to ensure project milestones are met on time

Requirements

Proven experience in roofing installation and repair within the construction industry
Strong knowledge of schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings related to roofing projects
Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and fabrication techniques
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in various weather conditions
Familiarity with carpentry, masonry, plumbing or other construction trades is a plus
Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise craftsmanship
Relevant construction certifications or licenses preferred but not required
