Full job description

Location: Chichester
Rate: £21 – £23 per hour (depending on experience)
Shift Pattern: Night Shifts
Duration: 1 Week
Start Date: 15th June

EMR are currently seeking an experienced Groundworker with either a Dumper, Roller, or 360 Excavator ticket to join a civil engineering project in Chichester for a week of night works.

We are looking for reliable and hardworking operatives with a strong background in civils and infrastructure projects who can work safely and effectively as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

Carrying out general groundworks and civils duties
Excavation, reinstatement and finishing works
Assisting with drainage and associated groundwork activities
Safe operation of Dumper, Roller or 360 Excavator plant
Working around live services and following site drawings
Maintaining a safe and tidy working environment
Adhering to all site health & safety procedures
Supporting site management and other operatives as required

Requirements

✔ Previous experience working as a Groundworker on civils or infrastructure projects
✔ Valid CSCS Card
✔ CPCS or NPORS Dumper, Roller or 360 Excavator Ticket
✔ Previous experience operating plant safely on site
✔ Full PPE
✔ Ability to work night shifts
✔ Strong work ethic, reliability and good communication skills

Job Types: Full-time, Temporary
Contract length: 1 week

Pay: £21.00-£23.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
