Company Overview

Natural Playscapes is a leading natural playground company based in East Sussex, specialising in the design and construction of exciting bespoke playgrounds for schools and parks across the UK.

The Role

We are looking for a junior design assistant to create our decorative canopies for schools.

This would suit an art student / creative looking for part time flexible hours around projects based at our studio and workshop in Framfield.

Your role would involve hand applying designs to our canopies for schools as well as creating bespoke canopy designs for projects using Illustrator. You would be working in a small team involved on working with the canopies as well as some independent work and work with the wider design team.

Although there are some set templates to work to, a creative eye to develop the designs and proficiency in using Illustrator are essential for the role.

Work Pattern

The work is project based so some weeks will be busier than others but we can usually plan when projects will be booked and spread the work out over several weeks or you can choose to work more hours one week and less the next. We would expect an average of two to three days per week (or the equivalent hours over several days).

You can choose hours to fit you between 8am – 4:30pm Monday to Friday and we would just ask that you take a flexible approach to the work.

Due to the rural location, all applicants must hold a UK driving licence and have their own vehicle.
