Experience Required: Minimum 4 years

United Trades is expanding, and we’re looking for a reliable, skilled Heating Engineer to join our growing team. If you take pride in high‑quality workmanship, enjoy working independently as well as part of a team, and want to be part of a company that genuinely invests in your development, this role is for you.

About the Role

You’ll carry out a wide range of heating and plumbing work across domestic properties, including:

Boiler installations, servicing, and repairs
Central heating system diagnostics and maintenance
General plumbing tasks as required
Stove installations – desirable but not essential, as full upskilling and training will be provided but this will form part of the job role

What We’re Looking For

Minimum 4 years’ experience as a heating engineer
Strong knowledge of domestic heating systems
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage your own workload
Professional development – engage in ongoing learning to keep abreast of industry developments, particularly in renewable technologies and gas systems
Relevant qualifications (Gas Safe, OFTEC, or similar)
Full UK driving licence
Safety compliance – adhere to health and safety regulations at all times, ensuring all work meets gas safe standards
Mentorship – share knowledge and skills with apprentices and help them develop their skills
