Hovis Avonmouth is looking for a hands-on Transport Manager to lead our busy transport operation and keep our iconic products moving safely and efficiently across the region.

What you’ll be doing:
Managing and supporting our team of drivers and shift managers

Ensuring legal compliance & safety standards (including O-Licence responsibilities)

Keeping the fleet operation efficient, on-time and cost-effective

Monitoring KPIs and improving performance across the transport team

Working with planning, production and customer teams to keep everything moving

Promoting a positive safety culture, leading by example

What we’re looking for:
Strong transport or logistics background (HGV experience a real advantage)

Experience leading a team – Must have experience building and nurturing relationships with drivers

Good understanding of compliance, safety and transport regulations

A calm, practical, “get things done” approach

Someone comfortable working in a fast-paced FMCG environment

CPC in Road Haulage (essential)
