Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and organisation within various settings, ensuring a high standard of hygiene and presentation. This role offers an opportunity to work in a professional environment where attention to detail and customer satisfaction are paramount. Previous experience in janitorial, hotel, or commercial cleaning is advantageous, along with skills in cooking and customer service.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and communal spaces
Change bed linens and replenish supplies as needed
Ensure all surfaces are dusted, vacuumed, mopped, and sanitised to meet hygiene standards
Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and clothing
Maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies and notify management when replenishments are required
Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning duties
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest or client requests promptly and courteously
Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

Experience

Previous janitorial or commercial cleaning experience is preferred
Hotel housekeeping experience is highly desirable
Skills in cooking or food preparation are considered a bonus but are not essential
Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Familiarity with cleaning equipment and products used in professional settings
