Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and energetic Preschool early years worker to inspire and nurture young learners in a dynamic early childhood education environment. In this role, you will create a safe, engaging, and stimulating classroom where children can explore, learn, and develop essential skills. Your leadership will foster a positive atmosphere that encourages curiosity, independence, and social-emotional growth. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on children's lives while demonstrating strong management and childcare expertise.

Duties

Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development
Manage classroom routines to ensure a safe, organized, and inclusive learning environment
Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support student progress and well-being
Lead group activities that encourage teamwork, creativity, and problem-solving skills
Monitor each child's development and provide feedback to parents during regular meetings
Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, and classroom supplies
Demonstrate leadership by guiding assistant teachers or volunteers in daily classroom operations

Skills

Strong management and leadership abilities to oversee classroom activities and team members
Experience working with children in early childhood or nursery settings
Deep understanding of childcare principles and early childhood education best practices
Excellent communication skills in English for effective interaction with children, parents, and staff
Ability to foster a nurturing environment that supports children's growth and independence
Valid driving license preferred for transporting children or attending off-site activities
Proactive approach to safety protocols and emergency procedures
