What you will be doing:

Being the first point of contact for our drivers, communicating morning and afternoon vehicle movement plans to suit job requirements.
Work closely with drivers to ensure legal driving hours are adhered to and include regular taco checks.
Work with the Senior Logistics Manager to ensure smooth and efficient transportation of kit to the intended destination within strict timelines.
Communicate to relevant sites regarding stock movements.
Maintain truck and trailer inspections, MOT and service records.
Maintain daily trucking records for yearly comparison across jobs, including records of costs for vehicles and trailers.
Manage company fleet of vehicles, responsible for MOT’s, servicing, repairs, breakdowns and hire vehicles.
Maintain company fuel card administration.
Provide administrative support to the stock team as required.
Assisting with daily accommodation requirements, as required.
Supporting with crew transport requirements, booking hotels, and flights.
General administrative support with emails and telephone calls.

Who you are:

Previous knowledge of transportation planning is essential, minimum of two years experience.
Must have experience of working in a similar role in the United Kingdom.
Experience working in a busy office environment, minimum of two years experience.
Must have a good understanding of HGV transport legislation and compliance.
A strong knowledge of tachograph regulations.
Proficient in data entry and analysis using tools such Excel.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively.
Attention to detail to maintain accurate records and identify discrepancies.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Have a positive and enthusiastic attitude, with a process driven work ethic and be willing to learn.
Flexibility - able to adapt approach when individuals or the situation requires.
This role is based full time in Biggleswade, Bedfordshire, so you must be able to commute daily to the office.
