Job Title: Management Accountant

Location: Norton, Worcester

Terms: Full time

Salary/rate: DOE

high quality vehicle refurbishment services for large Corporations. With extensive experience in the

Automotive Industry, we seek to combine excellent Customer Service with unmatched vehicle repairs

whilst keeping that ‘family feel’ in an enjoyable workplace.

About the role:

We’re looking for an experienced Management Accountant to join our team at Hudson Kapel Fleet Solutions

The Management Accountant will be responsible for assisting in all aspects of the finance function,

whilst ensuring accurate records are kept.

You will be someone that enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, with a hands-on attitude, who

is a team player and always proactively suggests areas for change within the department.

Responsibilities:

Preparation of monthly management accounts.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Prepare variance analysis and financial reports.
Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations.
Assist with accruals, prepayments, and journal entries.
Fixed Asset Register
Support the preparation of VAT returns and tax compliance.
Work closely with other departments to ensure accurate financial reporting.
Assist in financial audits and liaise with external auditors.
Identify areas for process improvement and efficiency.
Purchase Ledger & Sales Ledger
Creditors & Debtors Monitoring

Requirements:

● Excellent communication skills

● Able to meet targets and deadlines

● Ability to work effectively under pressure

● Be able to work as part of a team

● Comply with Health and Safety requirements and legislation

● Maintain a positive working relationship with all members of staff

● Self-motivated

Nice to Have’s:

Relevant qualifications desirable but will consider those without formal qualifications with

experience (a study package is available for the right candidate)

Intermediate Excel Skills
Experience with Sage

Other Requirements:

To action any other reasonable request from the Finance Manager & Company Directors.

To undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and

which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of the job.
