About Dingley's Promise

Dingley's Promise is the UK's largest specialist early years SEND charity, supporting children aged 0–5 with special educational needs and disabilities and their families. We operate twelve specialist centres across England and deliver national training to over 30,000 early years practitioners each year. Our mission is to make sure every child with SEND gets the best possible start in life.

This role sits within a national government-funded programme delivering high-quality online CPD to up to 10,000 early years practitioners across England, in partnership with a consortium of specialist sector organisations.

Role Purpose

Plan and deliver the social media and digital marketing strategy for Dingley's Promise's national early years SEND CPD programme, driving practitioner registrations and supporting partner marketing activity to reach and engage the full target audience across England.

Key Responsibilities

Social media management

Develop and manage the social media strategy for the programme across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram and X
Create, schedule and publish engaging organic content tailored to early years practitioners
Monitor and respond to engagement, comments and direct messages across platforms
Identify and engage key sector influencers, practitioner communities and partner social channels to amplify reach
Track and report social media performance data against registration targets

Digital campaign management

Support the development and execution of the digital advertising campaign (£75,000 budget)
Brief and coordinate with external agencies or freelancers where needed
Monitor campaign performance and optimise targeting and creative to maximise registrations
Ensure campaign messaging is consistent across all channels and aligned with programme and Dingley's Promise brand guidelines

Partner marketing coordination

Liaise with consortium marketing partners on their marketing deliverables and coordinate activity across partner networks
Coordinate the schedule of partner emails, social posts and newsletter placements
Provide partners with assets and copy they need to promote the programme to their networks
Track and collate partner marketing activity for reporting

Content creation

Write compelling copy for social media, email campaigns, the programme website and promotional materials
Commission and coordinate video content production within budget
Create or oversee production of printed marketing assets and merchandise for national events

Person Specification

Essential

Demonstrable experience managing social media channels professionally, including content creation and community management
Experience planning and executing digital marketing campaigns
Strong copywriting skills — able to write engagingly for a practitioner audience
Competent with social media management and scheduling tools
Analytically minded — comfortable using data to track performance and inform decisions
Collaborative and organised, with experience working across multiple stakeholders or partners

Desirable

Experience marketing CPD, training or educational programmes
Familiarity with the early years or education sector
Experience managing paid social or digital advertising campaigns
Knowledge of GDPR requirements for marketing communications
Experience coordinating partner marketing activity at national scale
