Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Air Conditioning Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing air conditioning systems across various commercial and industrial sites. This role requires a strong technical background, leadership qualities, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team to ensure optimal climate control solutions. Duties

Install, service, and repair a wide range of air conditioning units and systems in accordance with manufacturer specifications and safety standards.
Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably.
Troubleshoot issues using schematics and technical manuals, diagnosing faults accurately.
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to facilitate installation and repair processes.
Perform equipment repairs, replacements, and upgrades to optimise system performance.
Collaborate with construction teams during new installations or refurbishments involving air conditioning systems.
Maintain detailed records of work performed, parts used, and system conditions for compliance and future reference.

Requirements

Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in air conditioning systems and equipment repair.
Strong understanding of schematics, technical manuals, and system diagrams.
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for HVAC equipment within residential, commercial or industrial settings.
Construction experience related to HVAC installation projects is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose faults efficiently.
Relevant qualifications in mechanical engineering or HVAC technology.
Ability to work independently or collaboratively in fast-paced environments whilst adhering to health and safety regulations.
