We are looking for a Senior Fleet Operations Manager who can lead large-scale fleet strategies while improving efficiency, compliance, and overall service performance.
You will oversee daily fleet operations, lead operational teams, collaborate with logistics and technology departments, and drive strategic improvements that directly impact customer experience and business growth. Key Responsibilities:
Fleet Operations Leadership:
Oversee day-to-day fleet operations across multiple service areas while ensuring operational efficiency, safety, and compliance standards are consistently maintained.
Operational Strategy:
Develop and implement scalable transportation and fleet management strategies that improve productivity, reduce operational costs, and enhance customer service performance.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor Fleet Supervisors, Operations Coordinators, Drivers, and Logistics personnel while fostering a high-performance operational culture.
Performance Management:
Monitor operational KPIs including vehicle utilization, delivery efficiency, maintenance schedules, fuel management, and service response times.
Technology and Reporting:
Utilize fleet management software, telematics systems, and operational analytics tools to support data-driven decision-making and reporting processes.
Compliance and Safety:
Ensure all fleet operations comply with transportation regulations, health and safety standards, licensing requirements, and internal operational policies.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Work closely with senior leadership, logistics teams, vendors, and external partners to improve operational workflows and support long-term business objectives.
What We Are Looking For:
Experience:
7+ years of experience in Fleet Operations, Logistics Management, Transportation Services, or Operational Leadership, with at least 2 years managing large operational teams.
Leadership Skills:
Strong experience leading cross-functional teams in fast-paced operational environments with the ability to manage performance, productivity, and service delivery standards.
Technical Knowledge:
Experience working with fleet management systems, telematics platforms, logistics software, and operational reporting tools is highly preferred.
Communication Skills:
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to present operational strategies and performance insights to senior leadership.

Pay: £5,600.00-£82,059.65 per month
