Personal Care Assistant – Flexible Hours Available (£18.40 per hour)

Are you kind, dependable, and looking for meaningful work where you can truly make a difference? We’re looking for caring individuals to join a small, friendly team supporting a much‑loved mum in a peaceful rural setting.

This is more than just a job. It’s an opportunity to become part of someone’s life, helping her stay independent, enjoy the things she loves, and continue living well in her own home.

About the Role

You’ll be working alongside another care assistant to provide person‑centred support both at home and out in the local community. No two days are the same, and your role will include personal care, gentle mobility support, meal preparation, medication support, companionship, and helping with hobbies.

You’ll be supporting a lady who enjoys music ranging from Elvis Presley to Status Quo, watching classic TV programmes, cooking and baking, completing crosswords and puzzles, and getting out for short walks when possible.

Flexible shifts are available across mornings, afternoons, and evenings throughout the week. You’ll be part of a supportive and welcoming team, and full training is provided, so experience is not essential.

✅ What We’re Looking For

We would love to hear from you if you are patient, calm, and compassionate, with a positive outlook and a reliable nature. You should be able to follow guidance while also using your initiative and be looking for a role that genuinely makes a difference.

A full UK driving licence and access to a car is preferred due to the rural location.

Training and Support

You will receive full training including safeguarding, moving and handling, medication administration, dementia awareness, food hygiene, and first aid. An Enhanced DBS will also be provided.

Pay and Hours

£18.40 per hour with approximately 6 hours per week, with flexibility across a range of shifts.
