Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and energetic General Warehouse Operative/Packer to join our dynamic logistics team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently handling materials, preparing orders for shipment, and maintaining a well-organized warehouse environment. Your enthusiasm and attention to detail will contribute to smooth operations, ensuring products are accurately picked, packed, loaded, and received. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop your warehouse skills within a fast-paced, supportive setting.

Responsibilities

Safely handle materials using appropriate techniques and equipment, including forklifts when certified.
Pick and pack customer orders with precision, ensuring accuracy and quality standards are met.
Load and unload shipments efficiently, verifying quantities against shipping documents.
Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory movements and update stock records.
Assist with stock replenishment, stocking shelves, and maintaining an organized storage area.
Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing goods to ensure standards are upheld.
Support shipping and receiving processes by preparing items for dispatch or receipt, following safety protocols.

Skills

Proven experience in warehouse operations or similar environment.
Knowledge of materials handling techniques and safety procedures.
Ability to operate forklift trucks safely; certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Familiarity with warehouse management systems for inventory control.
Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and load/unload tasks.
Attention to detail for picking, packing, quality checks, and stock accuracy.
