Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, adhering to company standards.
Take orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring prompt service to customers.
Serve food items in a courteous and professional manner, maintaining high standards of presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including sanitising equipment and surfaces regularly.
Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system with confidence.
Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with patrons warmly and addressing any enquiries or concerns promptly.
Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure compliance with health regulations.
Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, supporting the team during busy periods.

Skills

Proven Barista experience is desirable, with knowledge of coffee brewing techniques.
Strong understanding of food safety standards and procedures.
Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to assist with food preparation when required, demonstrating versatility.
Good basic maths skills for handling transactions accurately.
Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy hours.
Friendly and approachable demeanour with strong communication skills.
