Main Purpose of the Role
The Equipment Logistics Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the right equipment is in the right place at the right time to support the delivery of training across A to E Training & Solutions.
Acting as the central coordination point for equipment movements across the business, the role provides operational oversight of training equipment, simulation assets and clinical training kit, working closely with instructors, client sites, couriers, suppliers and internal teams to plan, track and coordinate equipment requirements.
The postholder will maintain visibility of equipment availability, support equipment sales fulfilment activities and coordinate logistics requirements for both planned and reactive operational activity. Success in the role is achieved through effective planning, strong communication, accurate administration and the ability to anticipate operational requirements before they become operational issues.
Key Responsibilities
Equipment Deployment & Planning
The Equipment Logistics Coordinator will maintain oversight of equipment deployment across the business, ensuring equipment requirements are identified, planned and coordinated in advance of course delivery.
Working closely with operational colleagues, instructors and client sites, the postholder will coordinate the movement, dispatch, collection and return of equipment, ensuring operational requirements are met whilst maintaining an efficient and cost-effective approach.
The role will balance multiple priorities simultaneously, maintaining clear visibility of future equipment requirements and supporting the smooth delivery of training activity across the organisation.
Logistics & Supplier Coordination
The postholder will act as the primary point of contact for courier providers, transport suppliers and other logistics partners used by the business.
They will coordinate deliveries and collections, monitor service performance and resolve logistical issues that could impact training delivery, client commitments or equipment sales activity.
The role will support the development of positive supplier relationships, ensuring service quality, reliability and value for money are maintained at all times.
Asset Visibility & Operational Control
The Equipment Logistics Coordinator will maintain accurate records relating to equipment location, availability and movement, ensuring operational teams have access to reliable information when planning and delivering training activity.
The role will support the implementation and ongoing management of equipment control processes, maintaining visibility of assets across the organisation and identifying risks or issues that may impact operational performance.
The postholder will contribute to the development of robust and scalable systems that improve equipment tracking, asset visibility and operational resilience.
Equipment Sales & Customer Fulfilment
The role will support the fulfilment of equipment sales activity by coordinating dispatch arrangements, delivery schedules and customer communications.
Working with suppliers, customers and internal stakeholders, the postholder will help ensure sales orders are processed accurately and delivered in line with customer expectations.
The role will contribute to maintaining a positive customer experience whilst ensuring appropriate records and documentation are maintained.
Operational Coordination
The Equipment Logistics Coordinator will work collaboratively with the wider Operations and Client Services teams to ensure equipment requirements remain aligned with business activity.
The role will provide timely updates regarding equipment availability, delivery status and logistical risks, supporting informed operational decision-making and effective planning.
The postholder will contribute to continuous improvement activities, identifying opportunities to strengthen processes, improve efficiency and support the ongoing growth of the organisation.
Systems & Reporting
The role is responsible for maintaining accurate information within operational systems, spreadsheets and tracking tools.
The postholder will support the production of reports relating to equipment utilisation, logistics activity, courier performance and operational trends, helping to provide meaningful management information that supports decision-making and future planning.
PERSON PROFILE
Knowledge & Experience
Experience working within an operational, logistics, coordination or administrative environment.
Experience managing competing priorities and coordinating multiple activities simultaneously.
Experience working with suppliers, customers or external service providers.
Experience operating within a service-led environment where attention to detail, responsiveness and customer experience are important.
Skills & Qualifications
Excellent organisational and planning skills.
Strong administrative capability with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, suppliers, customers and external stakeholders.
Confident using Microsoft Office applications, particularly Outlook, Word and Excel, together with operational systems and databases.
Ability to analyse information, identify issues and support effective decision-making.

Additional Requirements
Willingness to work flexibly in line with operational requirements, including occasional early starts or late finishes where required.
Ability to travel occasionally between company locations.
Full UK driving licence desirable.
The post holder must operate in accordance with all company policies and relevant statutory requirements, including Health & Safety, UK GDPR and data protection legislation, Information Security standards, and Financial Governance frameworks. The role is expected to ensure these standards are consistently applied within the Support Services team.
