Full job description

An established nursing home is seeking an experienced Clinical Lead to provide strong clinical leadership within a medium-sized service rated "Good" by CQC across all areas. This is a key clinical leadership role focused on delivering safe, effective, person-centred care to elderly residents, including those with palliative care needs.

The Role

Provide visible clinical leadership to the nursing and care teams
Oversee delivery of high-quality, person-centred care
Lead on care planning, risk assessments, and clinical decision-making
Manage medication systems, audits, and clinical governance
Support residents with elderly and palliative care needs
Lead clinical supervision, appraisals, and competency assessments
Ensure full compliance with CQC standards and inspection readiness
Cover the RGN shifts if needed.
May need to do night duties at times.

Requirements

Registered Nurse (RGN) with an active NMC PIN
Previous experience as a Clinical Lead or Senior Nurse
Strong clinical experience within elderly and palliative care
Strong knowledge of CQC standards, safeguarding, and clinical governance
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
Sponsorship not available
