Full job description

Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our customers receive the right parts and accessories for their needs. This position requires strong organisational skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. As a Parts Advisor, you will be responsible for managing inventory, assisting customers with their inquiries, and maintaining an efficient parts department. Training will be provided.

Duties

Assist customers in identifying and sourcing the correct parts for their vehicles or equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure that stock levels are optimised.
Communicate effectively with customers both in person and over the phone, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette.
Process orders and manage deliveries of parts to ensure timely fulfilment of customer requests.
Utilise Excel to track inventory data and generate reports as needed.
Organise the parts department to ensure a clean, efficient workspace that promotes productivity.
Collaborate with other departments to provide seamless service to customers.
Stay updated on product knowledge and industry trends to better assist customers.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a parts advisory or similar role is preferred but not essential.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to maintain accurate records.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with a focus on customer service.
Proficiency in Excel for data management and reporting purposes.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment while also being self-motivated.
