Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Mobile Phone Repair Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of mobile devices, ensuring high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilise technical skills in a fast-paced environment, with ongoing professional development and support. The ideal applicant will possess a strong understanding of electronic components, mechanical knowledge, and experience with various repair tools and techniques. This position is paid and suitable for individuals eager to develop their expertise in mobile device repair.

Responsibilities

Diagnose faults in mobile phones and tablets using schematics and technical manuals
Repair or replace damaged components such as screens, batteries, charging ports, and internal circuitry
Utilise hand tools effectively to disassemble and reassemble devices with precision
Perform maintenance tasks on devices to optimise performance and longevity
Troubleshoot hardware issues related to computer hardware, networking, or equipment repair as needed
Follow safety protocols during all repair procedures to ensure a secure working environment
Keep detailed records of repairs carried out and parts utilised
Maintain a clean and organised workspace to facilitate efficient workflow
Assist with inventory management of spare parts and tools

Experience

Proven experience in mobile phone or electronic device repair is preferred
Mechanical knowledge related to small electronic components and device assembly
Familiarity with computer hardware, schematics, and basic computer repair techniques
Experience using hand tools for delicate electronic repairs
Knowledge of maintenance procedures for electronic equipment and computer networking is advantageous
Ability to interpret technical diagrams and schematics accurately
Prior experience in equipment repair or related technical roles will be highly regarded
