Full job description

Job Title: Prehung Sales Manager

Hours: Monday – Friday (39 hours)

Job Purpose: Deanta deal exclusively with builders’ merchants and door retailers throughout the UK, and we are looking for someone now to head the Prehung door division. This is a commercial role leading and developing a growing sales team to deliver ambitious growth targets within the division, engaging architects, developers, and specifiers to drive specification and demand through Deanta's existing accounts. Working leads from both the main Deanta sales team and the Prehung team, and collaborating closely with Deanta's wider sales management, the role ensures the best possible customer experience and is accountable for revenue growth, pipeline management, forecasting, and team development.

Responsibilities:

Drive sales performance and revenue growth, taking ownership of sales targets, conversion rates, and pipeline value.
Lead, coach, and develop the internal sales and administration team to ensure high levels of service, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.
Manage and develop the sales pipeline, maximising and converting opportunities through Deanta's existing customer base.
Work in close collaboration with Deanta's wider sales management team to ensure customers receive a consistent, joined-up, and best-in-class experience.
Build and maintain relationships with architects, specifiers, contractors, quantity surveyors, and other key decision-makers to drive specification and protect existing business.
Lead the estimating and quotation process, managing opportunities from initial enquiry through to order placement and ensuring timely, accurate, and commercially viable proposals.
Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, providing regular pipeline and performance reporting to senior leadership and aligning with the Operations Manager on production capacity and delivery expectations.
Deliver technical presentations, product training, and CPD programmes to customers, specifiers, and internal teams, promoting the benefits of Deanta products and strengthening specification opportunities.
Ensure CRM, pipeline, quotation, and customer records are maintained accurately and consistently.

Skills and Experience Required:

Able to read and understand architectural drawings
Proven track record of field-based sales within the construction industry
Experience developing relationships with architects, specifiers, and building contractors
Experience of developing long-term relationships with clients
Knowledge of ironmongery and fire safety regulations
Experience of working in the UK doorset industry would be an advantage
Full clean driving licence as travel will be required
