Calex is a specialist training and consultancy organisation contracted to a number of market leading automotive manufacturers. We are seeking to recruit a Training Administrator (12 month maternity cover) to join the team at the Mercedes-Benz Training Centre in Milton Keynes.
The successful candidate will join a small team responsible for the administration of Technical Training on behalf of Mercedes Cars and Vans. This includes course scheduling, delegate communication, accommodation management, and maintaining and updating the Learner Management System.
The Mercedes-Benz Training Centre is responsible for delivering training to the Mercedes-Benz Retailer/Dealer network in the UK and delivers training from its state-of-the-art facility in Milton Keynes.
Candidates should ideally be able to demonstrate a minimum of 12 months in a similar administrative role, and possess excellent organisation, communication, and analytical skills. Customer service experience is also highly desirable.
The candidate will also be responsible for:
- Book and schedule training for retail network delegates and issue joining instructions
- Respond to inbound enquiries via phone and email, offering excellent support, advice, and guidance in every interaction – representing the brand in a professional way
- Maintain professional relationships with customers/retailers, and all internal and external training stakeholders
- Work toward course fill targets, using different techniques to communicate courses to retail managers and delegates
- Update and maintain delegate attendance records
- Invoice retailers for training
- Monitor and follow up all ‘no shows’ and course cancellations and apply appropriate charging
- Proactively rebook delegates and update the relevant records in the Learner Management System (LMS)
- Keep the LMS up to date with training information, training results etc
- Prepare course materials for Trainers
- Assist with the development of and recommend administrative processes and procedures to ensure efficiency
- Support with the preparation and delivery of regular and ad hoc reports including capacity reports and wait list reports
- Support the creation and updating of processes, and process documentation
- Follow all Mercedes-Benz Policies and Procedures, paying particular attention to confidentiality and GDPR good practice and rules
- Attend regular team meetings and record actions and meeting minutes
- Provide cover for reception as necessary
- All other administration support as necessary to deliver the requirement of the role – completing all activities in a timely, and professional manner
Key Technical Skills / Competencies:
- A minimum of 12 months administration experience (Essential), ideally gained in a similar role
- Strong administration skills (Essential)
- Proficient with IT, including Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (Essential)
- Ability to communicate effectively both face to face and via telephone and email (Essential)
- Experience in using Learning Management Systems (LMS) (Desirable)

The successful candidate will be employed by Calex UK (www.calexuk.com). Calex is a specialist automotive training provider and provide training staff including Technical Trainers and Administrators to Mercedes-Benz in the UK. The Training Administrator will join an established team, based at the Mercedes Training Centre in Milton Keynes.
Place of Work
Mercedes-Benz Training Centre, Tongwell, Milton Keynes, MK15 8BA. There may also be times when it may be necessary to work from home, or from an alternative client location (such as a Mercedes Retailer).
Salary & Benefits
