Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Recreational and Pre-School Gymnastics Coach to join our vibrant team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging gymnastics programmes to children and young adults, fostering a safe and positive environment that encourages skill development, confidence, and enjoyment. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a background in sports coaching or teaching to inspire young athletes and promote healthy physical activity within our community centre.

Duties

Implement our themes Pre-School classes or planned Recreational classes according to the plans provided.
Demonstrate proper techniques and safety procedures during all activities
Provide personalised feedback and encouragement to participants to enhance their progress
Ensure all equipment is used safely and maintained in good condition
Monitor participants’ behaviour, promoting positive conduct and teamwork
Organise warm-up and cool-down routines to prevent injuries
Maintain accurate attendance records and communicate programme updates to parents or guardians as required
Foster a fun, inclusive, and motivating environment that encourages participation from all children

Qualifications

Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching, preferably within gymnastics or similar physical activities
Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate children and young adults
Organised, reliable, and able to work effectively as part of a team
Enthusiastic attitude with a genuine passion for promoting physical activity and healthy lifestyles
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential; training can be provided for the right candidate

This position provides an enriching environment for those eager to develop their coaching skills while making a positive impact on young people's lives through sport.

Pay: £12.21-£16.00 per hour
