Senior Flooring Supply Sales Executive (High-Value Accounts)

About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially driven Flooring Supply Sales Executive to join our growing business and play a key role in expanding our customer base and increasing sales volumes.
This opportunity is suited to an established sales professional who already possesses a strong network of high-value customers and industry contacts who regularly purchase significant volumes of flooring products.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of generating substantial revenue and managing long-term relationships across commercial contractors, housebuilders, developers, retailers, distributors and flooring installation businesses.
This is a performance-driven role with exceptional earning potential for the right individual.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and grow a portfolio of high-volume flooring customers.
- Utilise existing industry relationships to generate immediate sales opportunities.
- Identify, secure and onboard new customer accounts across residential, commercial and trade sectors.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key decision-makers.
- Negotiate pricing agreements, contracts and supply arrangements.
- Deliver sustained revenue growth and consistently exceed agreed sales targets.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity and emerging opportunities.
- Work closely with internal operations, purchasing and logistics teams to ensure excellent customer service.
- Represent the business professionally at customer meetings, trade exhibitions and industry events.
- Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting.
Candidate Requirements Essential
- At least 5 years' experience in flooring supply sales or a closely related industry.
- A demonstrable track record of generating significant sales revenue.
- An established network of high-value customers and purchasing contacts within the flooring industry.
- Strong relationships with commercial contractors, flooring installers, housebuilders, developers, retailers or distributors.
- The ability to independently manage and grow a substantial sales portfolio.
- Excellent negotiation, communication and relationship management skills.
- Strong commercial awareness and business acumen.
- Self-motivated, ambitious and results-driven.
- Full UK driving licence.
Desirable
- Existing customer accounts that regularly purchase substantial volumes of flooring products.
- Experience selling a broad range of flooring products, including:
- Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT)
- Engineered Wood Flooring
- Laminate Flooring
- Carpet
- Carpet Tiles
- Vinyl Flooring
- Underlays and Accessories
- Experience managing high value accounts
Remuneration and Earning Potential
We offer flexible remuneration packages designed to suit experienced sales professionals.
The salary package will be individually customised to the individual. Package examples include;
- Basic Salary plus Basic Commission
- Smaller Basic Salary plus Increased Commission
- No Basic Salary with High Commission
Final remuneration will be agreed based upon experience, existing customer relationships and anticipated sales volumes.
