Full job description

Junior Sous Chef – Tap & Tail, Cleethorpes

Self-Employed Position

£13.25 starting per hour (depending on experience)

Minimum 30 hours per week

Tap & Tail is an independent bar and restaurant in the heart of Cleethorpes, serving artisan pizzas, premium small plates, brunches and quality fresh food.

We’re looking for a reliable and passionate Junior Sous Chef to support our Head Chef and help maintain the high standards we’re known for.

Responsibilities:

Preparing and cooking food to a consistently high standard.
Supporting the Head Chef with the day-to-day running of the kitchen.
Maintaining excellent cleanliness and food hygiene.
Assisting with stock control and deliveries.
Helping train and support junior kitchen staff.
Running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence when required.

What we’re looking for:

Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or Junior Sous Chef.
Passion for producing quality food.
A positive attitude and strong work ethic.
Good organisation and the ability to work under pressure.
Knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen procedures.
Someone who takes pride in their work and enjoys being part of a hardworking team.
