The Vacancy

We are looking for a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Worker who speak English or Welsh as their first language and holds a full UK driving licence to join our dedicated team.

The successful candidate will provide person centred support to individuals, helping them maintain their independence, achieve their goals, and participate fully in their local community.

Essential Requirements:

English or Welsh first language (this is due to the specific needs of the people being supported in this support service).
Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Caring, patient, and compassionate nature.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends when required.

Cooperate with the House manager, Area manager and Service Manager in providing a happy, caring, and secure home life for the individuals, together with a well-structured programme of leisure activities and sociable events.
Promote and adhere to the workplace values of Anheddau (caring, dignity and respect, learning and reflection, commitment to quality care and support)
Build positive relationships with families and friends of those who are using our services that demonstrate that we care about the work we do in supporting people to live the best possible life day to day.
Record and report about a person you are assisting progress, including any issues which may need further help or support
To contribute to the implementation of support plans with a person who is accessing our services and (where required) their families, that fully involves them and reflects their strengths, needs and assists them in living the best possible life.
