Production Operative

Shift: Monday to Friday 14:00 - 22:00

Salary: £27,500 per annum, plus an additional 50p per hour Shift Allowance

We are currently seeking Production Operatives to join our growing manufacturing team in Buckingham.

The Opportunity

As a Production Operative, you will play a key role in delivering safe, high-quality products while ensuring production schedules are achieved efficiently and accurately. Working as part of a collaborative manufacturing team, you'll help maintain the highest standards of food safety, quality, and operational performance.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

Manufacture products in line with daily production requirements and agreed schedules.
Follow standard operating procedures to ensure all batches are produced accurately and consistently.
Handle and prepare ingredients safely while maintaining excellent stock control practices.
Maintain strict allergen management controls and uphold food safety standards.
Carry out routine quality, compliance, and traceability checks throughout production.
Ensure raw materials, equipment, and resources are available to support smooth operations.
Work closely with team members and supervisors to achieve production targets.
Assist with product trials and the introduction of new products into manufacturing.
Follow all health, safety, hygiene, and environmental procedures.
Support audits, customer visits, and continuous improvement activities.
Help onboard and train new colleagues where required.
Work collaboratively with teams including Quality, Engineering, and Supply Chain to resolve issues and improve processes.
