F.R Scott ltd, established in 1945, are currently seeking a fully qualified electrician to join our existing electrical/controls department.
Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team. Work is predominantly based in Hull and the surrounding area.

Skill Set Required:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
Use hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement appropriate solutions.
Ensure all work complies with current electrical safety standards.
Ability to work either as part of a team, or on lone projects using your own initiative.
Proven experience as an Electrician with strong electrical skills.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong attention to detail and safety consciousness.
Relevant certifications or licenses preferred.

Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and fault-find electrical, systems across commercial, industrial, and public sector buildings.
Carry out electrical installations including lighting, power, containment, steel conduit, trunking, and control wiring.
Assist with the installation, modification, and commissioning of BMS and heating control systems.
Diagnose faults on electrical systems, pumps, valves, motors, sensors, and heating controls.
Collaborate with engineers and other trades to complete projects efficiently and professionally.
Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety standards.
Complete job sheets, testing documentation, and site reports accurately.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment on site.

Qualifications & Skills:

Proven experience as an electrician within commercial or industrial environments.
Ability to read electrical schematics, panel drawings, and technical documentation.
Competent using hand tools, power tools, and electrical test equipment.
Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Good understanding of electrical regulations and safe working practices.
18th Edition qualification required.
Testing & inspection qualification (2391 or equivalent) beneficial but not essential.
IPAF, PASMA, or ECS cards advantageous.
Full UK driving licence preferred.
Positive attitude, good communication skills, and willingness to learn.

Pay: £36,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
