Healing Manor Hotel is an independently owned, award-winning boutique hotel, wedding venue and dining destination. Home to our beautiful 37-bedroom hotel, two AA Rosette dining, and one of Lincolnshire's most sought-after wedding venues, we're passionate about delivering exceptional hospitality and memorable guest experiences.
We're looking for an experienced Front of House Events Manager to join our senior operations team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, enjoys leading people, loves weddings and events, and takes pride in delivering exceptional customer service from enquiry through to the last guest leaving.
About the role
This is primarily a weddings and events-focused management position.
You will take the operational lead on weddings, private events and corporate functions, ensuring every event is delivered to the highest possible standard. You'll act as the operational face of the business during service, supporting the team, liaising with couples, clients and suppliers, and ensuring every event runs seamlessly.
During quieter periods of the year, you'll also support the day-to-day operation of our award-winning pub and restaurant, helping us maintain consistency while guaranteeing your contracted hours throughout the year.
This is a genuine management role where you'll be trusted to make decisions, lead by example and help drive operational excellence across the business.
What you'll be doing
You'll be responsible for:
- Leading the operational delivery of weddings, conferences, private dining and events.
- Acting as Master of Ceremonies for weddings where required.
- Managing event setup, briefing teams and ensuring specifications are delivered accurately.
- Leading front of house teams during busy services and events.
- Delivering exceptional guest service and handling customer queries professionally.
- Supporting recruitment, induction, coaching and development of front of house team members.
- Helping maintain our high hospitality standards across every guest touchpoint.
- Supporting wet stock control, cellar management and stock accuracy.
- Working with the Operations Manager to manage staffing levels and rotas.
- Monitoring service standards and ensuring company procedures are followed.
- Supporting menu launches and product knowledge training.
- Managing cash handling and end-of-day procedures.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, food safety, health & safety and company procedures.
- Supporting the operation of our restaurant and pub during quieter event periods.
- Working closely with our Weddings, Kitchen, Reception and Management teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous supervisory or management experience within hospitality.
- Has experience running weddings, events or high-volume hospitality operations.
- Is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.
- Leads by example and enjoys developing and motivating teams.
- Is organised, proactive and calm under pressure.
- Has excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Has strong attention to detail and takes pride in delivering exceptional standards.
- Can confidently manage multiple priorities during busy service periods.
- Is flexible and enjoys the variety that hospitality brings.

Working pattern
This is a hospitality management position and will include:
- Evenings
- Weekends
- Bank Holidays
- Weddings and event days
