Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Multi Sports Coach to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging sports coaching sessions across various disciplines, fostering teamwork, and promoting physical activity among participants of all ages and skill levels. This paid position offers an excellent opportunity to develop coaching expertise within a supportive environment committed to sports development and youth engagement.

Duties

Plan, organise, and deliver coaching sessions in multiple sports disciplines, ensuring activities are suitable for all participants' ages and abilities
Motivate and encourage participants to improve their skills, confidence, and enjoyment of sport
Monitor participant progress and provide constructive feedback to support their development
Ensure all coaching activities are conducted safely in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations
Maintain equipment and ensure the sports facilities are kept clean and organised
Foster a positive team environment that promotes fair play, respect, and inclusivity
Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, or organisers regarding participant progress or any concerns

Skills

Proven experience in sports coaching across various disciplines
Strong teaching skills with the ability to adapt coaching methods to diverse groups
Excellent communication and organisational abilities
Ability to motivate and inspire participants of different ages and skill levels
Knowledge of health and safety standards related to sports activities
Enthusiastic, approachable, and committed to promoting active lifestyles
Relevant coaching qualifications or certifications are desirable but not essential
