Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and professional Part-time Bartender to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests. This role involves preparing and serving a variety of beverages, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and providing an enjoyable experience for all patrons. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends is preferred, as the position offers a dynamic and social working environment.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and presentation standards
Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver exceptional customer service
Ensure compliance with food safety and hygiene regulations at all times
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces
Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth service throughout shifts
Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient operation during busy periods

Skills

Proven experience in hospitality or food service environments, preferably within a bar or restaurant setting
Strong knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
Excellent serving skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour
Good organisational skills to manage multiple orders simultaneously
Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
Effective time management to prioritise tasks during busy periods
Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and composure
Personal presentation that reflects the welcoming atmosphere of our venue
