Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Sushi Chef to join our team at our busy restaurant. As a Sushi Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality sushi dishes to our customers. If you have a passion for culinary arts and enjoy working in a fast-paced kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you. Duties: - Prepare and cook sushi dishes according to established recipes and standards - Ensure the freshness and quality of ingredients used in sushi preparation - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the sushi station and kitchen area - Adhere to food safety and hygiene regulations - Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth operations - Assist in meal preparation during peak hours - Provide guidance and training to junior sushi chefs - Stay updated on new trends and techniques in sushi preparation Requirements: - Proven experience as a Sushi Chef or similar role - In-depth knowledge of sushi preparation techniques and presentation - Strong understanding of food safety practices in a kitchen environment - Excellent knife skills and ability to handle raw fish safely - Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant setting - Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team - Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality dishes If you are passionate about creating delicious sushi dishes and thrive in a dynamic kitchen environment, we would love to hear from you.
