Full job description

We're looking for a Fryer/Prep Chef to join our team at Colman's Seafood Temple in South Shields. You will join our team ensuring all prep is ready for the kitchen and assist the team throughout the day with service.

WHAT YOU’LL BE GETTING UP TO:

- Preparing food by following our very specific recipes

-Fish and chips frying. Deep fryer operation.

- Ensuring the kitchen is ready for service and correct stock levels are maintained
- Working efficiently as part of a team within a busy kitchen
- Understanding allergens and where they are found within our dishes
- Correctly recording deliveries and ensuring all ingredients are stored correctly

KEY SKILLS

- A passion for food
- Ability to work under pressure
- Demonstrating strong company and menu knowledge

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £10.00-£13.00 per hour
