Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and proactive Production Supervisor to oversee manufacturing operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to coordinate a team effectively. This role involves supervising production processes, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining safety protocols to optimise efficiency and productivity. The successful applicant will play a vital role in driving continuous improvement initiatives and fostering a collaborative working environment.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of production staff to meet daily targets and quality standards.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations across all operations.
Monitor production processes, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
Organise workflow schedules, allocate resources efficiently, and manage labour requirements.
Conduct regular training sessions for team members on equipment operation, safety procedures, and best practices.
Maintain accurate production records and report on key performance indicators.
Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure machinery is functioning optimally and schedule repairs as needed.
Foster a positive team environment focused on continuous improvement, quality assurance, and operational excellence.

Experience

Proven experience in a supervisory role
Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail and safety compliance.
Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Carry out any other such reasonable job related tasks as the company may require you to undertake from time to time

Shift Pattern

4 on 4 off, working 2 days and 2 nights that are 12 hour shifts
